Accommodations

Those familiar with the Tartan name know how superior these yachts are, which makes them extremely popular and very hard to find. The Tartan 31 is sloop rigged with fin keel, spade rudder and keel stepped mast. Winner of Sailing World’s ‘Boat of the Year in 1988 – Peoples’ Choice Award, she was designed to carry on the Tartan tradition of excellence in sailing performance. Whether racing or cruising, she is engineered to withstand offshore conditions in maximum comfort and luxury. The Tartan 31 is the perfect yacht for those who are looking to move up to a bigger boat and who do not want to sacrifice performance or comfort.

The forward stateroom has a double offset berth with a seat to starboard, bureau and hanging locker. Next aft and to port is a fully enclosed head with sink, shower, hot & cold pressure water and a manual marine toilet. The main salon has a varnished bulkhead mounted dinette table that when folded down will seat four comfortably for dining. The port and starboard settees have shelves and lockers outboard. Aft of the port settee is an outboard facing nav station with a folding nav table. Aft of the nav station is a very large and comfortable double quarter berth. Opposite the nav station to starboard is a U-shaped galley. The interior is finished in rich hand rubbed oiled teak. The cabin sole is satin varnished teak and holly. Excellent light and ventilation is provided by two overhead deck hatches, two dorade/solar vents and nine opening ports.
